Secure Payment at Navimaps
Ensuring that your payments online using a credit card are secure, we have done all that we can to enable you to order your maps online without wondering whether your information is safe or not. We use a highly rated and VeriSign Endorsed website.
Once you have selected the maps you wish to purchase and have entered all the requested information (i.e. name, delivery address etc) you'll be asked to provide your credit card information. This information is then encrypted to industry standards and is then processed by ProTx on their own secure servers.
In the address bar of your browser you should always see "https://ww..." whenever you are in the credit card processing at the ProTx site (this occurs when you proceed past the "Payment Options" in the Navimaps Shopping Online pages). If you do not see the https://ww... in your browser address bar we strongly suggest that you terminate the transaction. The http stands for "Hyper Text Transfer Protocol", the additional "s" indicates that the server is a secure server and that any information you give on those sites is also secure.
In the bottom right hand corner of your browser you should also see the small gold/yellow padlock icon, this also indicates that the server you are on is a secure server.
If you have any concerns about completing transactions online, you are of course free to call us and we will be happy to take your order over the phone and accept payments by cheque.
